I had an awesome time in India, and I felt that I had been used by God and have made a difference.  I didn’t realise how big COM was and I am amazed by the influence and blessing that COM has been given.  I had a great time and look forward to coming back one day.

This is my second time to India with COM and I can honestly say that both times have been a time of growth personally as a Christian.  There is no way you can express on paper the feelings you go through while you are there.  It’s been a privilege and honour to be used by God in India, to tell people of His Son Jesus and what He has done for us ALL.  We must all make Jesus last command “OUR FIRST PRIORITY”.

The greatest highlight for me was to witness the power of God at work in a Hindu village where Satan had brought much darkness.  After bringing a greeting and a short message as well as much singing and prayer, a young married Hindu couple asked to be baptised.  This was done in the only water available, a cattle trough with not so clean water.  It was raining and muddy, but such was their love for Jesus and their desire to follow His example that none of this was going to stop them.  It was a moving experience, one which I will never forget.  A Hindu couple baptised in the yard of a Hindu house into which we were invited and asked to pray over the whole family as they gathered in the centre of the room.  The darkness which had been over this home was gone.  Is there anything too hard for our God? NO! Praise Him.

Every church member should do an INDIA COM TRIP, if only to see how hard the Missionaries we support do it.  We drive to church in our fancy cars, they do it by bike and by any means they can. Also to learn how conscientious they are in their work.  Going about collecting the names of the villagers who made a decision, and having to contact them all after we’re long gone.  Our job of preaching, giving testimonies and praying over them is the easy part, they (Indian Missionaries) do the REAL work.

The India trip was not like I thought it was going to be.  I thought it was going to be bad accommodation, bad food and very hot.  Instead the accommodation was great, the food was good and the heat was very good.  Going to India and seeing the need for people to share the word of God is so great.  The harvest is ready and the workers are few.  Indians have a great hunger for God and it has encouraged me to press into God more and to stretch my faith.  I would like to thank COM for the opportunity of going to India - I have been touched very deeply.  Keith and Helen, God bless you and I thank you for your faith and trust in God and also in me, in allowing me to be part of the group.  My prayers are always with you.

I have had many wonderful experiences in India, and I loved the village ministry and the open night meetings.  The hospitality and warmth of the people of India was overwhelming.  Working with the Student Missionaries, and seeing their passion for God and hunger to learn more was great to see.  My highlight was seeing three women who had tears streaming down their cheeks after saying a prayer with me.  It was exciting to be used by God to bring His hope, love and peace.  A fascinating, challenging and life changing two weeks.  Thanks COM for having me.
